

HARDEN ANTHONY HAIRSTON, a cherished individual known for his kind, loving, caring, and wonderful personality left us on November 1st, 2024. Born on May 1st,1965 in Metropolis, IL to Harden and Josephine Hairston lived a life filled with tremendous passion and service to others. He was a family man who absolutely adored his mother, father and sister. He would do anything for them, but the love of his life was his wife, Jackie Vidal who he met 23 years ago. They formed a union to include his stepson, Daniel Washington, and a bond that was unbreakable. They were inseparable. You didn't see one without the other. His love for her was undeniable from day one. He was definitely one of a kind. He was a man who not only cared for and provided for his family, but he also showed a great work ethic. The same passion that he had for his family was also evident in his work. As an employee of Essendant Company for 26 years, Harden demonstrated a level of commitment that would garner him so much respect, appreciation, and admiration by his peers. Everyone loved him for his kindness and his team spirit. He did not hesitate to offer help to get the job done. He will be truly missed by his Essendant family. Most of all, he will be remembered for his positive legacy and the impact that he left on his family and everyone who loved him.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jackie, stepson Daniel Washington, parents Josephine and Harden Hairston, sister Joanna Morris, brother-in-law Moffett Morris, nephew and niece Cameron and Alondra Morris, daughter Aisha Banks and son- in- law Alex Banks, grandchildren, Shamarr Banks, Alexander Banks Jr and Aurora Banks, son Cedric Brown, mother-in-law Irma Vidal, sister-in-law Lisset Vidal, brothers-in-law Ricardo and Reynaldo Vidal and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
