Harry R. Stamper, III, 58, devoted and loving life partner to Lena Hinton, passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 1, after a life well-lived and loved, to be with his Lord and Savior. Throughout his life, Harry was known for his unwavering honesty and integrity, his compassionate and generous heart and his gentle soul.
Harry graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree and received his MBA from Mercer University. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy. Professionally, Harry was the President of Municipal Communications, LLC here in Atlanta.
Harry is also survived by his mother, Maureen Stamps of Atlanta, his sisters Susan Quina of Atlanta and Missy Morris (Andy May) of Los Angeles CA and his brother John Morris (Carla) of New York, NY.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his memory to the Harry R. Stamper, III Memorial Fund, made payable to the Georgia Tech Foundation, Inc., 760 Spring Street, NW, Suite 400, Atlanta, GA 30308. A Memorial Service will be held at Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Veterans Cemetery Road, Canton, GA at a later date.
