Hoan was born April 11th, 1938 in Vietnam. On February 25th, 1963, he married Su Tran in Saigon, Vietnam. Hoan was employed at Computer Science Corporation where he was a systems analyst/programmer. He spent several years abroad and lived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. During these years, he did a lot of international travel. He was an avid tennis player who enjoyed regular meetups with his tennis group. He spent most of his weekends playing tennis, watching tennis and many other sports. In addition, he likes working on the yard and researching the latest technologies in electronics. He and Su enjoyed spending time in the backyard, leisure walks and driving around town to discover new restaurants and establishments together. He enjoyed family gatherings with friends and family.
Hoan is survived by his three sons, Tuan Nguyen and his wife Phuong Nguyen of Houston Texas, Lap Nguyen and his wife Diane Pham of Dunn Loring Virginia, Thang Nguyen and his partner Steven Pitt of Atlanta Georgia, his daughter Kathy Welch of Myrtle Beach South Carolina and his wife Su Tran along with their grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 6th at H.M. Patterson & Son-Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Road NE, Sandy Springs, GA, 30328.
