Jacqueline A. Beckwith, 78, of Atlanta died April 16, 2016 at Northside Hospital of heart failure. She was born in Wisconsin, educated at Pius Xl High School and graduated from Alverno College in Milwaukee, later earning a Masters Degree at Case Western University. She married Carlton Fischer in 1960. She is survived by her daughter, Juliet Fischer and son Jeffrey Fischer and his wife, Dory; sister, Mary Ellen Burg and husband, Tom; niece and nephews, Daniel and David Burg and Peggy Kernan. Jackie is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Mary Beckwith. Jackie worked as a clinical social worker and retired from the state of Georgia. A memorial reception will be held where she resided at Hammond Glen Retirement Community, 335 Hammond Dr. Sandy Springs, GA. 30328 on Saturday, April 23 at 1 pm.
