

James Neal Davis, 79, of Atlanta, GA passed away in Johns Creek, GA, on March 27th, 2017. “Jim” Davis, son of the late Harold Davis and Phyllis Singleton Davis, loving and devoted husband of Carole Thomas Davis died peacefully surrounded by family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 49 years, Carole Davis, and two children, Neal Davis (Becky) of Atlanta and Leslie Palazzuoli (Leo) of London. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Sofia Palazzuoli, Emilia Palazzuoli and Colin Davis, as well as his sister-in-law Clair Rice and brother-in-law Dirk Thomas.
Jim was born in 1937 in Covington, KY, but moved to Richmond, VA at a young age. He also spent many years in St. Petersburg, FL and was educated at the University of Florida where he became a lifelong supporter of the Florida Gators. He was also a member of the Virginia Air National Guard.
After graduating, Jim moved to Atlanta where he began his career in the tabletop industry as a salesman for Noritake China. His success and love for the industry inspired him to start his own manufacturers’ representative agency, Keystone Marketing. He had showrooms in the Atlanta, Miami, & Charlotte Merchandise Marts, and Dallas Market Center. He ran his company with great pride until his retirement in 2006.
A celebration of his life will be held on March 31st, 2017 at 11:00am at H.M. Patterson – Arlington Chapel in Sandy Springs, GA. Visitation with the family will be at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts in Jim’s memory be directed to the Alzheimers Association.
