

Raised with strong family values, Jim was a devoted husband and loving son. He often amazed his friends with his depth of knowledge of all things in the world of sports. From the seating capacity of every college football stadium in the country to the latest stats from sports talk radio, Jim loved everything related to sports including his Georgia Bulldogs. Jim amused his friends and family with his sharp wit, charming sense of humor and clever comebacks. In recent years, Jim had renewed his commitment to his faith and had become passionate about seeking God’s will for his life. He also enjoyed travel and playing golf with his wife Diana, and loved to go deep sea fishing and SCUBA diving.
Jim graduated from Riverwood High School in 1987. He was an avid tennis player helping the Riverwood Raiders win the state championship in 1986 and 1987. He was proud to have attended Presbyterian College on a full tennis scholarship. After transferring to the University of Georgia, he graduated from the Terry College of Business with a BBA in Finance, and continued his education to receive his MBA from Kennesaw State University. He also held Series 7, 63, 66 and 24 brokerage licenses and had his Accredited Wealth Management Advisor Certification. A perpetual student, Jim was always seeking to advance his knowledge of his profession with certifications and continuing education courses. He had recently joined the FirsTrust Financial team in Private Client Services at their Atlanta office. Jim was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order and Cherokee Town and Country Club.
Jim is preceded in death by his grandparents Mary Gladys and John Kincaid, Sr. Jim is survived by his loving wife, Diana Klenske Kincaid, parents Jim and Glenn Kincaid, sister Allyson (Kincaid) Brand and husband Alex Brand and their children Lilly and Tyler, brother Whit Kincaid and wife Marilyn and their children Lucille and Caroline, grandmother Dorothy T. Byers, Aunt and Uncle Mary Rob and John Kincaid, Aunt and Uncle Cherie and Ed Van Winkle III, mother-in-law Mary Jane Klenske, brother-in-law Scott Klenske and wife Aimee and their children Kathrine and Virginia, and many cousins and their families.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Peachtree Presbyterian Church, 3434 Roswell Road, NW, Atlanta, GA 30305 on Friday, March 20 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation and reception following the service for friends and family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Peachtree Presbyterian Church at the address above, or to the Georgia Tennis Foundation located at 116 Marble Mill Road, Marietta, Georgia 30060.
