Jerald Wayne Sawyer, 64 of Atlanta, died January 10, 2015. Mr. Sawyer had a lengthy career with the U.S. Army and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. After his career he enjoyed a career with SunTrust Bank. He is survived by his mother, Angela H. Sawyer; brother and sister-in-law, Eric A. and Beckham C. Sawyer; sister and brother-in-law, Ramona S. and Mark Williams; and sister, Angela Leah Sawyer. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Disabled Veterans. Graveside services will be Friday, January 16, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Georgia National Cemetery, 5580 Knox Bridge Hwy., Canton, GA 30114.
