John Robert “Jack” Neary, 23, of Atlanta, died May 13, 2021. Jack was born April 6, 1998 in Atlanta. He was a graduate of Brandon Hall School and attended the University of Nebraska. Jack loved his friends, family, pets, and the outdoors. He was an artist, guitarist, music aficionado, mountain biker, hiker, and an avid camper. Jack was a kind soul, loved by many, with a wonderful sense of humor, warm heart and generous spirit. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John Robert Neary and Colleen Brennan Neary of Omaha, Nebraska. He is survived by his parents, Brian and Renée Neary; sister, Christina Maria Neary; brother, Kyle Joseph Neary; maternal grandparents, Jem Wing Hom and Betty Eng Hom of Richmond, Virginia; and many other extended and beloved family members. The family will receive friends Friday, May 28, 2021, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd., NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. A memorial service with a reception following will be held Saturday, May 29, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at Patterson’s Arlington Chapel.
