Margaret S. Foote

Margaret S. (Peg) Foote died on February 23, 2025 at the age of 99. Mrs. Foote was preceded in death by her husband, Richard P. Foote. Born and raised in New Jersey she moved to Dunwoody with her family in 1971. Mrs. Foote was a graduate of Syracuse University and was a long-time member of Dunwoody United Methodist Church. She was very active for many years in volunteer work in her church and community.

She is survived by two sons: Mark R. Foote and wife Ann of Snellville, Ga.; Steven B. Foote and wife Kimberly of Leawood, Ks.; and daughter Nancy F. Dolan and husband Skip of Barrington, Il.; as well as grandchildren: Jordan (Laura) and Kevin (Julia) Foote, Abigail and Jenna Dolan; and two great-granddaughters: McCartney and Allie Foote.

Services will be held in the chapel of Dunwoody United Methodist Church on March 9, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Methodist Children’s Home, the Murphy-Harpst Home, or to a charity of your choice.
