Martin Antonio Montes

Tony made his grand entrance into the world on May 25, 1987. He was a resident of Gwinnett County and bought his first home in 2021, in Snellville, GA. Tony started his legacy in 2009 with the birth of Major Montes. He continued growing his family with Maverick Montes in 2017 and Madden Montes in 2020. He was working for West Lake Construction doing what he loved, renovations. As a detail oriented person he excelled in his field of work. His love reached beyond his family and friends, as he loved his animals as well. He was on his way to starting his own dog breeding company Cachorros Hermanos with his bully Peaches and his Yorkies Biscuit and Kiwi. He had his first successful litter of 11 pups with Peaches in 2022. Tony lived for his three boys and all of his accomplishments, they were at the forefront of his drive.

There are many stories to share about Tony as he was the oldest of 10, a father to 3, an uncle to 3 and a friend/brother to so many. To know Tony was to know a good time, a love like no other, and a bond that couldn’t be broken. Tony was our hype man in any endeavor we were wanting to pursue. He was not only the life of every party but also hosted parties that we will have in our memories forever.

A limb has fallen from the family tree.

I keep hearing a voice saying,

“Grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter.

The good life I lived while I was here.

Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you.

Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.

My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.

Remembering all how truly blessed I was.

Continue traditions, no matter how small.

Go on with your life, don’t worry about falls.

I miss you all dearly, so keep your chin up.

Mr. Montes was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Calixto Hernandez and Louise ‘Nonnie’ Hernandez.

Mr. Montes is survived by his sons, Major, Maverick and Madden Montes; mother, Alicia H. Montes; father, Martin G. Montes (Lucero Montes); Pops (Christopher Hill); siblings, Cassandra Mitchell (Javonte Mitchell), Nikki Montes, Jazmin Berrazueta (Ryan Berrazueta), Lizette Montes, C.J. Hill, Kristin Hill, Valeria Montes, Alan Montes, Aaron Montes; and paternal grandparents, Guadalupe and Esperanza Montes.

Services will be Thursday, September 7, 2023 at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd., NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328 beginning with a Funeral Mass in Spanish at 11:00 a.m. followed by visitation and then a traditional service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Arlington Memorial Park.

Martín Antonio "Tony" Montes, de 36 años de edad de Snellville, falleció el 31 de Agosto del 2023.

Tony hizo su gran entrada a este mundo un 25 de Mayo de 1987. Vivió en el condado de Gwinnett y compró su primera casa en el año 2021 en Snellville, GA. Comenzó su gran legado en el 2009 con el nacimiento de su hijo Major Montes. Su familia continuo creciendo en el 2017 con el nacimiento de Maverick Montes y en el 2020 con el nacimiento de Madden Montes. Trabajaba para la compañía West Lake Construction haciendo lo que más amaba, renovaciones. Su amor superó solo a sus amigos y familiares, como también amaba a sus animales. Se estaba habriendo camino para crear su propia compañía de crianza de perros “Cachorros Hermanos” con su Bulldog Peaches y sus Yorkies Biscuit y Kiwi. Exitosamente Peaches se apareó y le regalo 11 cachorros en el 2022. Tony vivía para sus tres hijos y sus logros, son los que mas lo impulsaron.

Hay tantas historias para compartir sobre Tony como el hermano mayor de 10, un padre de 3, un tío de 3 y amigo/hermano de muchos. Conocerlo era saber que la pasarías bien siempre, un amor inigualable, y un lazo inquebrantable. Tony era nuestro motivador para cualquier cosa que queríamos alcanzar. No era solamente el alma de las fiestas, pero también buen anfitrión. Estas reuniones quedarán grabadas en nuestra memoria para siempre.

Se ha caído una extremidad de nuestro árbol genealógico.

Sigo escuchando una voz que dice:

“No te aflijas por mi.

Recuerda los mejores tiempos, la risa, la canción.

La buena vida que viví mientras era fuerte.

Continúa mi herencia, cuento contigo.

Sigue sonriendo y seguro El Sol Brillará.

Mi mente está en paz y mi alma está descansando

Recordando todo como realmente fui bendecido

Continua las tradiciones, no importa cuán pequeñas sean.

Sigue con tu vida, no te preocupes por las caídas.

Los extraño muchísimo, así que mantengan la barbilla en alto.

Sr. Montes fue precedido en la muerte por sus abuelos maternos, Calixto Hernandez and Louise ‘Nonnie’ Hernandez.

Al Sr. Montes le sobreviven sus hijos, Major Montes, Maverick Montes y Madden Montes, su mamá Alicia H Montes, su papá Martín Montes (Lucero Montes), su papá de crianza “ Pops” (Christopher Hill), su hermanos y hermanas, Cassandra Mitchell (Javonte Mitchell), Nikki Montes, Jazmin Berrazueta (Ryan Berrazueta), Lizette Montes, C.J. Hill, Kristin Hill, Valeria Montes, Alan Montes, y Aron Montes; y sus abuelos paternos, Guadalupe Montes y Esperanza Montes.

Los servicios funerarios serán este Jueves 7 de Septiembre del 2023 en el H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd., NE Sandy Springs, GA 30328

Comenzando con una misa en español a las 11:00am, seguida por vista y después un servicio funerario en inglés a la 1:00pm seguido por sepelio en el pant
