Mary Ivey Sawyer, 87, of Atlanta died April 8, 2013. Mrs. Sawyer worked for many years as an office manager with BLI Construction. She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Tom” Sawyer and daughter, Dianne Sawyer Traynor. She is survived by her son, Tom Sawyer; brother, George H. Ivey, Jr., William “Bill” Ivey; and sister, Betty Saladna. Funeral services will be Friday, April 12, 2013 at 2 o’clock at Patterson’s Arlington Chapel. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd, NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
