With great sorrow and bittersweet gratitude, the Marto family announce the passing of Michael Isa Marto. Michael was called home on May 18th, 2024 after a long and valiant battle with his health. He was at peace knowing Heaven was ready for him with open arms. He passed peacefully in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his family and friends. Michael, who was only 63 years of age, is survived by his loving wife Michelle; his brother Steven and his wife Gillian, their two children Francesca and Issa; and his brother Charles and his two children Hannah and Georgia; plus many more loving family members. He is preceded in death by his parents Musa Marto and Josephine Marto.
Michael was an extraordinary human being who made a positive impact on most lives he touched. He always lived with a desire for knowledge, an undeniable passion for music, a devotion to creativity, and a dedication to make the world a better place for everyone. When Michael was talking to you, he didn’t care if you were a multi-award winning artist or not, he had that rare ability to not only make you feel like the only person in the room, but to make you feel truly special.
Michael took this commitment to human connection and combined that with his relentless entrepreneurial spirit to build his award winning company, Executive Visions Inc. Despite creating incredible events for some of the World’s biggest companies and performers, Michael’s focus was always the people he worked with and the audiences he wished to inspire and entertain.
No matter where Michael roamed, his heart was always at home, with Michelle, his family, and Flash, their beloved furry companion. Michael relished every minute with his lifelong companion and wife, and there is no where he’ll be missed more. Michael lived his life with much humility and grace and loved celebrating life with family, friends and music. To honor him we will have a Celebration of Life on August 10th the weekend of his birthdate. More details to come.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
Our love for him will never fade, nor will we forget the beautiful soul he was, and we will honor him forever.
