Wow, one year has elapsed in supersonic speed.  Yet, I am convinced that your presence within me has never departed.   I see you in my thoughts, hear your cheers of "hello Roger", I relive all the moments we shared in the last 45 years, from the MBA classroom to the tennis matches, to the numerous entertainment venues, board meetings, and private intimate chats.  Although we all miss you terribly, it is consoling that your passion, generosity, and mega energy live on contagiously within all of us.

Today on this one year anniversary I remember my good friend, Michael who made a significant and positive difference in the lives of others. 
Michael our earthly world 🌎 here misses you, your extraordinary gifted and creative talent, your energy, your love for Michelle, Flash, family and others but we know and understand that heaven needed you more as one of their entertainment and musical  geniuses  of your talents in preparation of our Lords return.

How can it be a year? How is it possible that I've gone 365 days without hearing your voice, seeing that smile, picking up the phone to a rousing 'Feather my brother!!' The world is certainly a less exciting, less full place without you, Michael. We're still doing good work. We're keeping your memory alive. We're keeping an eye on Michelle (and Flash!) like we promised...but its just not the same, and it never will be. 
I was on a flight to Japan today, and I fell asleep with the shades open on the plane, and was gently awoken by the most beautiful sunrise and I know it was all Michael, sending me love, light and inspiration on this day, as he does every day….I miss you my brother. And I always will.

It’s not easy to put into words the reverence I have for Michael.  We met just about 6 years ago and I was instantly in awe of him and the beautiful work he did in this world.  He was brilliant, creative, and kind.  He was a very special person and I honestly wish I had spent more time with him.

Michael always was so kind to me, though I’m a non-famous side man. We both shared a deep love of music and admiration for the skills of our mutual friend, David Foster!  Michael produced some of the greatest shows I have ever or will ever be a part of, including the McDonald Convention in Orlando headlined by Sting!  I will never forget!  I miss him incredibly. I will also be forever grateful for his kindness and encouragement to me during the pandemic.  Michelle, I know that none of us can fully understand why God called him home at this time, but “it will all make sense  in a moment”. Michelle, I know I have told you this many, many times but Michael was such a gift to me and to so many. 

If you were fortunate enough to be in his orbit, a light so bright shined upon you. He was so very careful who he brought in his circle. But once you were in, he was your fierce protector. 

I had the good fortune of spending many hours with him in the office and he, Bob and I would discuss elections, current events, music, live events... the list goes on and on. 

One of the things that always tickled me was how he would use an analogy to bring his point of discussion a special bit of flare. From flying jets, being a top tennis pro, to flying off a helicopter on to a high peak with powder so perfect you could soar like an eagle down the slope, Michael's analogies were air-tight and resolute; as was he. 

Michelle, you and I shared a bit of a bond over these past 8 months and not the fun kind. Scott and I are so grateful for all of the thoughts and prayers you and Michael so selflessly sent our way considering your own journey.

THIS GUY... server and restaurant owner in Geneva.. every time he put down a plate, food a glass of water, he would yell, "SERVICCE". We got the biggest kick out of it and picked it up. Omar, Chera, Feather, Suzanne, Michael and Chris and I all started to say it every time we saw one another and still do it to this day. It is one of MANY memories I'll forever cherish. Oh the lovely masks. Michael tapped me as "Pepper Potts" after my first live event with EVI in 2021 (Eisenhhower/Palm Springs). He tossed me in a role and had complete confidence that I would be able to manage it. I sometimes think most people don't remember my name so, they will just call me Pepper!

I started my journey with Michael Marto in 2020.... right when Covid reared its ugly head. We clicked instantly and although I had no idea what my future would be with EVI, I was grateful he put his faith in me not only as his "Pepper Potts" but, eventually in bigger and more intense roles for our experiential events. I miss him terribly.

I'm so saddened to learn about Michael's passing. We worked together in a professional capacity, but he was always warm, kind and generous to me personally. I know that both the Marto and EVI families will miss him greatly. Extending thoughts, prayers and sympathy to all.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I only knew Michael for 5 years but felt like we were life-long friends. The world was a better place with Michael Marto in it, and now that he is gone, I feel all who knew him will feel the urge to pick up the reins of loving kindness he showed to others. God be with you and your family.

I was doing an IBM Meeting in the Fontainbleau in Miami in about 1980 when Musa Marto asked me to give an introduction to Corporate Meetings to his sons Michael and Charles. He flew them to Miami and I sat them behind me put a headset on them and had them listen to me direct the technical aspects of the Meting. By the end of that Meeting Michael knew that this was the business for him. shortly after that he started a company which was to become Executive Visions one of the finest Corporate and Special Event Production Company in the Country. I knew quickly that Michael was a very creative and talented individual. We bonded very quickly and became brothers. I loved him and will miss him terribly.

I don’t have words to describe how much it hurts to have lost Michael. He was such a good friend, not only to me and my late husband, but to everyone I ever saw him interact with. He probably had more enthusiasm for life than anyone I have ever known. I have a hole in my heart just as I’m sure so many other people that knew him do as well.

To Michelle and the entire Marto Family and all of Michael’s many, many friends - there are no words for a loss like Michael. Especially when he is gone so soon and far too early. Although he did pack more lives into his 63 years than many ever dream about. 
He also brought more life to everyone fortunate to know him. He did more for me than I can ever adequately say … or thank. Like all of us, I miss him already.

I met Michael in the mid-1990s.  He hired me as a young Office Manager, and I was forever changed as my life intermixed with the entire Marto family.

They were always loving, kind, and supportive.

Michael was the one who name me Cannoli because I am 100% Italian.  I can remember many times hearing him yell down the hall at EVI, "Cannoli!  Where are you?  Come here!"

So many laughs and good times working at EVI.  I truly made some life-long friends from my time spent there.

Michael, you were a force to be reckoned with.  The world will miss the light you provided, but I am sure your family will work diligently to honor and carryon your spirit.

I know they have moved over and let you take control of the soundboard in Heaven.  I can't wait to get there and see the production you have created!  It will be spectacular!!

Ah Michael, my brother.  We've had so many adventures, and created so many amazing things, and we had so much left to do, I'm so sorry. 

You taught me SO much about the business we shared, but more than that about honour, integrity, honesty and accountability. You taught me how to run a business with integrity, and how to present ideas to people in a way that mattered. 

I will miss your gentle ease. I will miss watching you simply make people feel better, often when you didn’t think anyone else was watching – but I was. I will miss the way watching you has made me a better man, a better husband, and a better father. The name Michael means “a gift from god”, and for those of us lucky enough to have had Michael in our lives, that’s exactly what he was. His kindness, empathy, and compassion, radiated from his soul and his presence took over a room. Everything Micheal was involved in or managed was sure to be a success. His passion and leadership capabilities were unparalleled.Now that he has gained his full abilities back…watch out heaven, because there is a new angel in town, and I’m sure there is work to be done!! Even though Michael always had a million responsibilities, and his phone rang more than anybody’s, (I’m sure Verizon is feeling his loss too) he always made time to lend a hand, or an ear, and dedicated so much of his life here on earth helping others. I am eternally grateful to have had his guidance, support and advice and to call him my friend. Michael was an angel on earth, long before he received his wings, and I know he will continue to hold us underneath his span. To his beloved Michelle, (and Flash) and all family and friends who are feeling his loss, my heart is beside yours. I’m shocked and saddened by this news. Michael was so sweet, nice and always had a smile on his face. He loves his family and especially his nephew and nieces. He was such a gentle and beautiful soul. I’m praying for you all and know I’m here if you need anything. I’m so sorry for your loss. 🙏🏼
