Millard O. McMillan, Jr., 90, of Atlanta, died February 15, 2013. Mr. McMillan served in the Army Air Corps during World War II in the Pacific Theatre and Western Australia. He retired from the Air Force in 1963 after a 20 year career. Mr. McMillan then enjoyed a career with Eastern Airlines where he retired as a Production Planning Manager. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy A. McMillan and son, Charles A. McMillan. Survivors include his daughter, Diane McMillan; sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Briggs McMillan, Bruce and Claire McMillan; grandchildren, Jimmy R. Cliatt, Melanie Williams, Lisa Sessoms, Andrew McMillan, Cameron McMillan, Ian McMillan; great grandchildren, Marshall Williams, Garrett Williams, Lauren Sessoms, Will Sessoms, Kate Sessoms; and sisters, Lee Carroll, Jeannie Goodman. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Halcyon Hospice, 5411 Northland Dr., Sandy Springs, GA 30342. A memorial service will be Monday, February 18, 2013 at 2 o’clock at First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta, 1328 Peachtree St., Atlanta, GA 30309. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4 o’clock at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd., NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
