

Patrick Michael Kelley, a native of New Orleans and longtime resident of the Atlanta area, passed away on Sunday, December 3. A loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend, he is survived by his wife of 14 years, Niki Kelley; children, Ryan and Chloe Kelley; parents, Lydia Trejo Kelley and Michael Andrew Kelley; brothers, Mark Kelley and David Kelley; sisters, Cristina Kelley Auberry (Chris) and Charlotte Kelley; in addition to three nephews and a niece, cousins, and devoted friends.
He graduated from Archbishop Rummel High School in Metairie, Louisiana, in 1992 and received his bachelor’s and masters degrees in accounting from University of New Orleans (UNO) in addition to a CPA. Following his education, he worked for several accounting firms, most recently in Atlanta as a senior partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers, preceded by his tenure as a senior partner with Deloitte & Touche in Atlanta and New York, where he served as a frequent panelist at real estate and private equity conferences. Kelley was consistently recognized by his colleagues for his expert tax advisory and due diligence.
He was a natural athlete and participated on his high school track and wrestling teams, and in his adult life enjoyed running, working out and skiing with his brother Mark and his friend Roger, one of his favorite pastimes. He also enjoyed traveling the country with his wife, in addition to spending time with his two children, whose talents and interests he avidly encouraged and supported. His humor and spirit during family gatherings will be greatly missed by his brothers and sisters, and his laughter will always remain present in their memories. He touched the lives of so many with his charisma and endless devotion to everything in his life, and his lasting legacy will be forever remembered and cherished by his family and friends.
The family will receive close friends Friday, December 8, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at H.M. Patterson & Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd., NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. The Funeral Mass will be Saturday, December 9, 2017, at 11:30 a.m. at The Cathedral of Christ The King, 2699 Peachtree Rd., NE, Atlanta, GA 30305. A private interment for family members and close friends will follow at Arlington Memorial Park.
