Longtime Atlanta attorney, Paul R. Koehler, died Saturday, November 28, 2015, after a lengthy illness. Born July 23, 1936, in Buffalo, NY, Paul served in the United States Air Force and graduated from Emory University School of Law. He practiced family law in Atlanta for 51 years. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Deborah J. Koehler; son, Travis J. Koehler; daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Kevin Dwyer; daughter and son-in-law, Eleanor and Jerry Russo; granddaughters, Jacqueline and Juliet Dwyer, all of Atlanta; sister and brother-in-law, Edie and George Williams of Wheaton, Illinois, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at Northside United Methodist Church, 2799 Northside Dr. NW, Atlanta, with Dr. G. Gil Watson officiating. Interment will be at Arlington Memorial Park, Sandy Springs. H. M. Patterson & Son Arlington Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
