Dr. Webster was our vet for several years. He was the kindest and most compassionate vet I have ever encountered.  May he rest on peace across the Rainbow Bridge.

Dr. Webster took care my pets in last 2 years. He was an amazing veterinarian who truly cared about the wellbeing of animals. It is heartbreaking to hear that he passed away.

Ray Webster
I was shocked and saddened to hear the news of Rays sudden passing. Ray and I met some 40 years ago as freshmen at Auburn School of Veterinary medicine, class of 1984.  Our friendship was immediate and enduring throughout the four years and provided great relief from the intense course of study required to become a veterinarian. Along with our passion for veterinary medicine, tennis occupied most of any free time we had at Auburn. It kept us fit and sane. Toward the end of our time at Auburn Ray meet his future wife to be Kerry of which I was fortunate to be his best man at his wedding in 1990. As our careers and families  eventually took over and we went our separate paths in life, occasionally exchanging Christmas cards and then regrettably losing contact with each other. 
Ray was a great friend and a kind soul.   It sounds like he was greatly loved by his community family and friends and will be greatly missed. I know I will think of him often as one does that has experienced loss of a family member or loved one. Rest in peace Ray. May your family find peace as well.

Dr. Ray had cared for our fur babies since we moved here 18 years ago with care, concern, sympathy and a deep regard for their well being.

From our first Springer Chelsea, to our second Rebekah, then Rosie, to currently Jake and Harper. Even our first cat, Grayson, Dr. Ray was impeccably brilliant with the way he treated each of them.

Always ready to listen, always had great knowledge and just one of the most gentlest, generous and devoted human beings not only to his profession, but to the community as well.

We send our prayers to the Webster family and to all those whose lives he touched.



Dr. Ray was an incredibly veterinarian. I have ample childhood memories of him serving my family and our four legged loved ones with deep compassion and care. He never failed to offer a treat to our dogs, praise them for their good behavior, and always invited us to be beside the table of our pets as they were being cared for. His loving demeanor to our pets meant the world to us, and we are so grateful to have had him be our family's vet for over 20 years. He will be deeply missed, and always appreciated. 

Dr. Webster cared for our dogs for over 20 years. He always seemed to understand the needs of our pets and considered what made sense for the family as well.  I can't imagine taking our pets, members of our family, anywhere else. We will miss you Dr. Webster. 

So very sad at the unexpected passing of Dr Webster. He and Kelley have taken care of all our family pets for many years. We are so grateful for all his knowledge and compassion for our furry friends. Just saw him last week with our 14 year old Maltipoo, Snickers. Prayers for all of the Olde Towne Animal Hospital families and Dr Webster’s family. WAR DAMN EAGLE DR WEBSTER!

Ray was like a brother. He took care of a total of 8 dogs for us since he opened his practice. He put up with all of their idiosyncrasies as if they were his own. He never said anything negative towards them or my family. He wrote a kind note when all of our dogs had to be put down, 
Many never find their calling in life but he knew he was called to take care of animals. He was a success in my eyes because of his warm, kind spirit. He treasured those things that were important in life. Woodstock was a better place because of him and I know that many animals are happy to see him now.
Godspeed my friend, may others find the secret of your fulfilled life.

Dr. Ray was the absolute best.  I am so heartbroken over his passing.  Dr. Ray was such a kind soul with a love for all animals.  The kindness that he showed our pets and to us was priceless.  He always seem to mourn your pets passing along with you and still was able to console you as you said goodbye. Rest In Peace, Dr. Ray.  You will be missed.

Dr. Ray and Kelley have been such a huge part of my life since I moved to Woodstock 12 + years ago.  They nursed  my heart after the passing of my beloved Cooper, some 5 years ago.  Dr. Ray called me at home and consoled me for a good 30 minutes.  Kelley took care of Cooper's final resting place.  They were (and Kelley still is) like family to me.  Since Cooper's passing I have adopted a rescue, Charlee.  Bringing Charlee to see Dr. Ray and Kelley were fun field trips for Charlee.  The genuine love was so overwhelming.  My heart has an emptiness.  I have never met Dr. Ray's family, but be sure you are in my prayers.  Kelley - no words, other than I love you.

Ray was a very caring man who made your pets feel at ease and took his time with you and your pet. He took care of our two rescued pets for 19 yrs. He will be missed by all pets especially.  Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and Ray.

My husband and I were incredibly saddened to hear this news. We’ve been taking our sweet rescue dog to Dr. Webster for three years and have loved him so much. He’s treated our baby with so much kindness. He truly cared for the animals that came to see him and was incredibly gentle and nurturing every time we came in. We could never say enough good things about him. We are sending all of our love and prayers to his family, as well as the office staff at Olde Towne. 

Dr Webster was the kindest vet we have ever had. He had such a gentle demeanor and always took the time to "dumb it down" for us so we completely understood what was going on with our little dog.   I can only imagine how he will be missed as a husband and a father. Our hearts go out to his family, and his extended family of pet owners all over Cherokee county. 

Dr. Ray was our vet for over 19 years, even when we moved 30 minutes from Olde Towne Animal Hospital we  stayed with Dr. Ray.
He was one of the most kind and gentle people I've ever known.  
Dr. Ray was a calming presence when one by one our 5 pups grew older and had health issues. We would go into the office full of fear and anxiety and leave with hope and a plan for moving forward. Eventually, when we had to have our sweet pups put to sleep, Dr. Ray (and Kelly) helped us through the decision making and the difficult process.
I pray for God to comfort his family in the days, weeks, months, and years ahead. 
He was loved and will be profoundly missed.
 

Dr. Ray Webster was our Vet since we moved to Woodstock in the early '90s. He has cared for my Jackson and all our dogs as if they were his own. He is a blessed Soul, always kind and thoughtful. My father and I have been bringing our dogs to see Dr. Webster since I was a young child, and he consoled us through the loss of two of our dogs when it was their time to go. We will never forget all of the kindness he showed our family and the contagious smile he always had on his face. We were so saddened by the news of his passing, and our condolences are with his loved ones, as we know this is a difficult time.

Mike and I were so saddened to learn of Ray’s passing. He was so caring, loving and showed such a passion for his love of animals along with Kelley. There will never be a vet like Ray. I was just in 2 weeks before having to put my cat down after 18 years and never dreamed that would be the last time I’d see Ray. Praying for Kelley and Ray’s family that you find peace and comfort during this sad time.

Dr Webster was an awesome vet, and our only vet for over 20 years!  We will be forever lost, and will miss his immeasurable love, dedication, and commitment to his “4 legged” patients!! He navigated us through 2 major health issues with our beautiful golden retriever, and for that we are eternally grateful! I have been a client and friend of Dr Webster since he began his practice. What a kind and gentle soul he was. We use to love talking sports during our visits. You will be greatly missed my friend.  Gods speed. 

We were so very saddened to hear of Dr. Webster's passing.  We loved him as our vet and knew how much he loved his patients.  He and Kelly were so kind and gentle when it came time to put our Tessa down and we appreciate the compassionate and down to earth care he provided for our Hudson as he ages.  Others will be able to provide vet care, but none will be Dr. Ray.  You all are in our prayers through this difficult journey.   

Words cannot express our feelings of loss with the passing of Dr. Webster.  He (and Kelley) were so attentive to our beagle, Caesar.  Their explanation of what Caesar was going through as he aged helped us to understand our dog.  We are forever grateful for having known such a great vet!


There are no words to describe what an amazing man your husband and father was Kerry, Andrew and Kiki. For the last 20 years he’s been my coworker ,my friend and for most of the last 15 years the person I spent the most time with  doing what we both loved! Trying to make a difference in our community and he did!! The town of Woodstock is going to miss this man dearly!!  There are many great animal  hospitals in our quaint little town, but no one that offered the care compassion and  Olde  Towne Mayberry feel that  Ray did!  I miss him so bad! He was my family! He took good care of me and put up with me for all those years! He let me raise my youngest son  and have him with me, and homeschool  him and  even help me pick him up from carpool when I needed him too! He allowed our hospital to be a mission field to pray with people and love people. To show people that they meant something to us and that their animals meant something to us that money never did. Thank you for sharing him with me and with all of our clients and their precious furry babies! We are forever grateful!! ❤️

We were so saddened to hear of Ray’s passing and pray for comfort and peace for Kerry, Andrew, Kiki and Kelley. He was so kind and patient with our pets and with us- nothing rattled him! He was always calm and reassuring, even when it came time to put our dogs down. I’ll never forget the compassionate way he handled it and how he and Kelley made a difficult decision less painful. We are now on our next set of puppies and they have no idea how hard it’s going to be to entrust any other team like we did with the dynamic duo. Rest easy, friend.

I’m so sad to hear of Dr. Webster’s passing.  I trusted and was so happy to have found such a kind hearted Vet.  His openness to speak about my Lucky’s aging and end of life process was so meaningful and I knew he always had my dogs best interest at heart !  I grew up with antiques, ,my mom was a dealer , and he office just felt like home to me !!  He often would say to me that we do much better with end of life decisions with dogs then with people! May his soul Rest In Peace and I’ll always remember his   honesty and kindness. 

We are so sorry to hear of Dr. Webster’s passing.  We were so fortunate to have found Dr. Webster about 25 years ago and he has been by our side through the ups and downs of our many pets! He was always so compassionate and caring and always gave our pets the best care! They always loved to go to the vet!  Kelley has always been a godsend and I am not sure what we are going to do without them caring for our pets! Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends! 

We moved to Woodstock two years ago and chose Olde Towne because it was a stone's throw from our new house.  Our first coincidence was the discovery that our puppy's first vet (Kerry) was  Ray's wife (12 years prior)!  
The warmth and care and love and compassion Ray and Kelley gave  our dog was beyond anything we've  experienced.  There are no words to describe this loss - for Ray's family, Kelley, and all the fur babies they took care of.
Our last memory of Ray is from August, when he (and Kelley of course!) helped us through the trauma of putting our dog down.  I'll never forget him describing the method he used, explaining that it is painless and gentle.... and that wouldn't it be nice if human beings could go the same way...
What a beautiful man he was.

Dr. Webster was one of the nicest people I have ever met. I was so saddened to hear of his passing. He was our family vet for over 16 years. He was a very caring and compassionate person. You could see how much he loved animals from the way he treated our animals when we would take them in to see him.  He was definitely in the perfect line of work for him  and I am so grateful that all of my animals were fortunate to have Dr. Webster for their Veterinarian!  

Dr. Webster's passing is a tremendous loss to all of our pets. It was easy to see the genuine love and compassion that he felt for each of them.  

Our family will always be grateful for Dr. Webster.  What a wonderful caring man. Holly & Hank loved him.

It's hard to believe that it's 30 years ago when a very concerned younger me walked into the neighborhood vets office with a very sick fur baby.  How lucky we were! Dr. Webster guided us through  the next 30 years with kindness, skill and empathy. We left the area in 2018 but have made appointments with him as we came through on our yearly travels.  We still considered him our vet.  The book " All Creatures Great and Small" could have been written about him.  Rest in peace and our love Dr.  Ray.

He and Kelly walked us through the deaths of 3 of our beloved dogs.  We are forever grateful.

Dr. Webster was a beautiful person.  He has been my vet for just over 20 years.  Both he and Kelley provided services and care above and beyond for my Tosh, Jenkins and Roadi.  It just so happens that I had to put my Roadi down last Tuesday.  I have asked Roadi to find Dr. Webster and to give him a huge hug and kiss. I was sad to learn of Dr. Webster's passing. He took good care of my cats, Ben and Jerry, and then later, Tom Kat.  His family and staff have my deepest condolences. The world has lost someone very special.

Dr Webster has been our vet through the lives of 4 of our dogs. I wanted someone that was dedicated to the health of our dogs not someone that about making money. I found that in Dr Webster. He was a no nonsense , no frills Dr. who didn’t push blood work or other testing. When he did , I was confident that that was the best option. He treated each of his patients as he would his own . He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. It was an honor to know someone so dedicated to his animals. Prayers for comfort and peace for his family and friends . 

Ray was such a kind soul. He always cared for our pets with so much love and affection. He always knew ways how to make our pets comfortable, even if they needed a draining tube. My condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones. He was an amazing person, and we need more people like him in this world.

Ray loved and cared for our pets over the past thirty plus years. In reality it was not just our pets that he tended to so lovingly; he also gently, kindly, and compassionately tended to the family's concerns, fears, and grief.  Dr. Ray will be  greatly missed by many.  He tirelessly gave of himself for the good of the pets, their moms and dads, and for the community.  My prayers go out to the Webster family, may God's love and comfort surround you.

To the Webster Family - our hearts are broken at the loss of dear Dr. Ray! He lovingly cared for all four of our labs over 25 years. He was the best of the best, so knowledgeable, kind and caring! When it was time to say good-bye to our first three precious pups, he was right there handling the hardest part of saying good bye. When our one lab had an intestinal blockage, he quickly knew something was seriously wrong and referred us to the UGA Vet Hospital where emergency surgery saved her life (she’s now a healthy 11 year old!). Every encounter we had over all of those years with Dr. Ray just confirmed and strengthened our knowledge and opinions of him - he was kind to everyone, he loved all living beings, he knew his field so well, cared deeply about our pets and by extension, he cared about all of us. He was always so easy to talk to and was really a great listener! We moved out of state 2 years ago but continued to bring our pup back to him for shots and check ups, even as recently as just last month! We will miss dear Dr. Ray deeply! Our hearts go out to Kerry, Andrew and Kiki. We never had the pleasure of meeting you but we want you to know how much we loved, appreciated and respected your husband and father and how deeply he will be missed. Dr. Webster - Your dedication to the veterinarian field always went above-and-beyond.  The caring and devotion you showed my pets over the course of 28 years has been truly special.  Not only were you a wonderful veterinarian, but a friend.  Our thoughts and prayers to the Webster family.

Ray was my vet for many years. Ray was one of a kind! It was never about the money for him and I really admired that.  Dr. Ray and Kelley were a great team. This is an end of an era in Woodstock veterinary care. It can't be copied or replaced. My heart is heavy for Ray's family of course, but in a selfish way my heart is also heavy that something so special is over. Thank you Dr. Ray, for what you brought to this community. I will miss you and the love and care you brought to your craft.


Dr. Webster has been our veterinarian  for over 20 years. He was one of the most kindest people I’ve ever known. He would spend so much time with you and charge very little. Everyone I ever referred to him would say “wow, he’s such a great guy and he really helped our pet. He will be greatly missed by us and our pets. Dr. Webster was one of the kindest, most compassionate people I have known.  He is also the only vet I have ever had.  There was never a thought that I should go else where.  He wasn't in the business for the money. . . . . that's a rarity!!!   I have nothing but admiration for him.  He will be greatly missed.

Dr. Webster was our family vet for 30+yrs. He was a kind, lovely man and a wonderful Dr. He and Kelley provided the best care possible. He cannot be repaced.

Dr. Webster was our vet for 32 years and was the nicest, kindest person. My family and pets will miss him dearly.

Dr. Ray was our vet for over ten years. My husband’s family had been taking their animals to him for years and introduced me to him while we were dating. We were all blessed to have known Ray; he was always good to us and our cat Chance. Ray was a fast talker with a warm heart and sunny disposition. Our family will miss him greatly. Dr. Ray was the only vet my dogs have ever known.  I have 2 that are 14 this year, and I got both of them when they were less than 3 months old - and Dr. Ray took care of them from the day that I got them.  He was such a kind, gentle and compassionate person and you could tell that he truly loved taking care of the animals.  When I had to put one of my dogs down a few years ago, he was so compassionate and made what was a very difficult experience a bit more bearable.  We could certainly use more people in the world with the same compassion and kindness that he possessed, and his passing is truly a loss that is heartbreaking.  

Dr. Webster was my veterinarian for almost 25 years. He had such a gentle compassionate way with my fur babies over the years. Even when I moved to Dallas (GA) I still took my dogs to Woodstock to see Dr. Webster. It was heartbreaking to learn of his unexpected passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. 

Dr. Webster was a special man.   He had been our vet for over twenty years.  He truly loved his job and took such wonderful care of all his patients.  When our first dog passed away,  he mailed our family a hand written condolence card with such comforting words  to help us through our loss.  He will be truly missed by our family and especially our dog Gunner.   All our best to his family.
