Tamar Coffsky

Tammy Coffsky, 38, of Marietta, GA passed away unexpectedly on July 2, 2011. Tammy was born in Akron, Ohio and later moved to Georgia. In her earlier years Tammy was an equestrian competitor and competed in Hunter, Jumper events. She graduated in 1996 from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor's Degree in English. Tammy worked for many years as a production assistant in the T.V. and Film industry. Tammy was known as a unique and free spirit, and was a consummate lover of all animals especially cats. Tammy will sorely be missed by her family, friends, and community. Her untimely death will create a vacuum of good deeds. She was preceded in death by her mother Linda Mervis Coffsky who passed away in 1998. Tammy is survived by her parents Rabbis Barry & Michele Coffsky of Marietta, GA; brother and sister in-law Adam & Amy Coffsky of Dunwoody, GA; step sisters Mara Suskauer of New Jersey, Alyssa Baylis of Dunwoody, GA; nephews Jared, Derek, Eyal; niece Maya; uncle, and aunt Dr. Jay & Sandy Coffsky, along with numerous cousins. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Tammy's memory to Healing Hands Youth Ranch, 114 Addington, Waleska, GA. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Greenlawn Jewish Funeral Directors at Patterson's Arlington Chapel with Pararabbinic Mitch Cohen officiating.
