Albert A. Trusing, 89, of Lake Mary passed away on June 26, 2016 peacefully at home. Al was born on August 6, 1926 in Rochester, New York; the son of Charles and Nina Trusing. Al served our country proudly as a member of the Merchant Marines, during WWII and the US Navy during the Korean War. He married his wife Elizabeth Manciocchi Trusing on July 20, 1957, and they enjoyed almost 59 years of marriage. He moved his family to Florida in 1978 from Webster, New York. Al was an electrical engineer with Stromberg Carlson, he retired in 1988 after 33 years of service. Al leaves behind to honor his memory, his wife and four children Christine (Mark) Trach of Apopka, Eric (Jaimie) Trusing of Wimauma, Kathleen (Robbie) Lopez of Gulfport and Kenneth Trusing of Sanford and four grandchildren Sarah Lopez, Michael Lopez, Sophie Trusing, and Danielle Trusing. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no prior visiting hours, and a private family burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to Hospice of the Comforter in Al’s honor.
