Blanchy Alvarado

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Blanche Alvarado ( Rivera), who stepped peacefully into God's hands on February 13, 2024, in Winter Park, Florida at the age of 75. Born on August 26, 1948, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, best remembered for her delicious meals that she loved to cook for her friends and family, especially her grandkids.

After dedicating more than a decade and a half as a property manager for Public Storage, Blanche leaves behind a legacy of hard work and dedication. Her earlier days were spent at Cybex on Long Island, New York, where she met her husband, Joseph Alvarado, whose memory she now joins in eternal rest.

Blanche's spirit is carried on by her sister Priscilla Rivera, her children: Lisa Diaz, Christine Wagstaff (married to Tim Wagstaff), and Luis Diaz (married to Angela Diaz), and her beautiful grandchildren: Jonathan, Isabella, Louie, and Alayna.

The family invites you to join them in honoring Blanche's memory at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home & Oaklawn Cemetery, at 6:30pm 3/8/24. Located at 5000 CR 46 A, Sanford, Florida 32771. Together, we will celebrate a life well-lived and cherish the moments she brought to each of us.
