

Clarence Wesley Royals Sr. (94 y/o) of Sanford, FL went home to be with the Lord early Sunday morning, May 29th, 2016. Clarence was born on April 17th, 1922 in Lake City, FL, to Oscar and Minnie Royals. Clarence attended school in Lake City, FL and graduated from Union Academy High in Bartow, FL, later enlisting in the U.S Army. After his tour in the Army, Clarence joined and retired from the U.S Army Corps of Engineers in 1982. After retirement he worked as an Investigator for Peter Harris Investigating Service, and became an Armed Security Officer at the Orlando Jai-Alai and Sanford Orlando Kennel Club. Clarence always wanted to be his own boss and thus opened 3 Kings Security and Investigation Service in Sanford, FL until his retirement in 2005. Clarence was proceeded in death by his parents, Oscar & Minnie Royals, brother, James Royals, and his great grandson Dominique R. Royals. Clarence leaves to cherish his legacy Armenthus, his wife of 62 years. Their union was blessed with two sons, Clarence W. Royals Jr. (Melinda) Bessemer, Al and Kenneth R. Royals (Patrice) Clermont, FL; one brother Roosevelt Royals Jacksonville, FL, and one sister in law, Jeanette Mobley (Willie D) Lakeland, FL. He has five grandchildren, Dante R. Royals (Tonya) Sanford, FL; Corrie Royals; Torrie Royals (April); Leinda F. Royals of Bessemer, AL and Shaunika A. Royals Clermont, FL. He has eleven great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Viewing is on Friday June 3rd, 2016, from 5pm to 7pm at Greater New Mount M.B. Church 1109 West 12th, Street Sanford, FL. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday June 4th, 2016 at Greater New Mount M.B. Church, Elder Gradey Roberson of Divine Temple of God will be officiating, Rev. Jack Jackson Jr. Great New Mount Calvary M.B. Church will deliver the eulogy. Interment is at Oaklawn Cemetery Sanford, FL and Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel 5000 County Road 46A Sanford, FL is in charge of all arrangements.
