Edith Bradbury, 86, of Sanford passed away Monday June 27, 2016 in her residence. Edith was born on July 27, 1930 in Germany; the daughter of Heinrich and Anna Beier. Edith married Robert Bradbury in 2 wedding ceremonies held October 18 and 19, 1948. Robert was in the military stationed in Germany when they met. She was a homemaker, a great cook, and loved all types of sewing and crafts. She was a member of the Seminole Home Extension.
Edith leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Robert Bradbury Sr., son Robert Bradbury Jr., daughters Linda Beaty and husband Charles, and Anna Holloway all of Sanford, six grandchildren, Leslie Faulkner and husband Mike, Susan Kissinger and husband Jim, David Beaty and wife Jennifer, Jason Holloway and fiancé Jenny Miller, Kristen Cook and husband Bill, Jeremy Holloway, six great grandchildren Justin and Kalista Faulkner, Jokob Whitsell, Leanna Holloway, Eli Beaty, Keri, and Julie. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Herman, and sisters Margaret and Leichen.
A graveside funeral will be held Friday, July 1, 2016 at 10am in Oaklawn Park Cemetery with Chaplain Ezekiel Robinson officiating. Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel was entrusted with arrangements.
