Francesca Neuenschwander

Francesca Neuenschwander was born in Brooklyn NY on February 6, 1951 and passed away too early on October 27, 2016. Francesca was preceded in death by her father, Peter and mother, Maria. She is survived by her beloved and loving husband Andre, her sister Margherita of NY, her nephews, uncle, cousins and many great nephews and nieces and great great nephew all of whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by many relatives in Italy. Francesca and her husband met at a bank in New York almost 40 years ago where they both worked. They were married to each other for over 34 years. While her husband moved on to different banks, Francesca remained at the same bank for over 30 years after which she moved on to another financial institution. At the request of her company, Francesca relocated with her husband to Florida 12 years ago. She retired happily 6 years ago. Since that time, they both lived between Lake Mary and her beloved St Maarten in the Caribeans. Since her retirement, she considered her home in Lake Mary as her “vacation” home and her home in St Maarten her retirement place. She was always at peace in St Maarten where she easely made new friends Francesca was the friendliest person you could meet and was always there to help friends and colleagues at work, many of whom she has kept in contact with since retiring. Her favorite pastime was completing puzzles, a hobby passed on by her dear father. The more complicated it was, the more she enjoyed it. Francesca was an avid animal lover with a passion of helping stray cats and dogs. She unofficially adopted Rosie, a stray dog in St Maarten she fed on a daily basis. She enjoyed crime/mysteries TV shows. Francesca and her husband loved going to the beaches in St Maarten early in the morning as it would be less crowded watching the gentle waves of the blue water and the horizon and watching the beautiful sunsets from their balcony. Francesca was the most precious part of his life and will remain so in memories. Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Baldwin Fairchild Oaklawn, 5000 County Road 46a (H E Thomas Jr Pkwy), Sanford, Florida from 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to your favorite animal shelter.
