RIP Ellie.. We are sorry for losing you but we know you are in God arms and you are no longing suffering and in pain...We will miss  and Love you..

Ellie was like a daughter to Charles and I. We loved her dearly.
She ask me once if we were going to abandon her, because of
certain events in her life. I was surprised at her question. I told her we loved her no matter what. For what she had been
through in her life, Charles and I had to admire her strength
and courage. She had a great sense of humor and a beautiful 
that would light up anyones day. She made friends easily.
She had wonderful friends. She was always saying how proud
she was of you Nicholas and how wonderful her grandson
was. We'll miss you Eillie, God Bless You. You'll always be in 
our hearts forever.

I'm sure with purpose, although so soon, the Lord has called you home. May all your pain and suffering be gone, you can now rest in peace. Beautifully enough, Momma will be there waiting to meet again I know. So many childhood memories held so close at heart between you and I. I'll never forget when you'd be at work, I'd be in your closet trying on every high heel you had and every chance I got I'd pretty up with all your collection of makeup. There was never a Christmas that almost every gift under the tree was from you to me. You made sure I had the finest. All the pretty clothes you bought me and I can't recall any toy that I wanted but didn't have. You were such a caring, loving, giving, hard working, beautiful person. As a child you were my admiration....you were "my" Aunt Ellie. You are loved so dearly and will never be forgotten. May you rest in peace, until we meet again.

Ellie, my precious friend who made me laugh often.  Who care about others, especially your family and friends. Your life was filled with happiness and tragedies. We supported each other no matter when or where.  Our times at the ELC were filled with such a plethora of things. Planning our lunches the day before, losing our cars in the garage, forgetting which floor we were parked. Oh, how you loved the collard greens I would bring to you. How we enjoyed our trips to the beach on Fridays in the summer just to eat lunch. One of my most favorite memories was you, Sylvia and I opening the West Oaks Mall. How we got separated and the two for you went to security to report me missing. As we found each other again, I asked what you said. The answer was Oh we have lost a friend; she's 4'11, wearing jeans and is 35 years old! How funny that was. Oh what a laugh, you losing your car (as usual) and driving all the rows of cars for at least 30 minutes until we found it. I could write more, but it would fill too many pages. My dear Ellie rest in peace as I know the Lord has you in the palm of his hand in a better place. I will see you again one day for our bond of friendship will never be broken!

So sorry to hear of Ellie's passing. Ellie was a fun loving person and I had the pleasure of working with her at OCPS, becoming friends and babysitting Nicholas many years ago. We had so many laughs together.   Sorry so many years have passed that we didn't stay in contact.  May she rest in peace and prayers to the family.

Ellie was a wonderful friend.  I worked with Ellie at Orange County Public Schools and we began a friendship that lasted.  She loved her family and friends and I will miss her.  I know I will see you again one day.  My love and prayers go out to her family.  Sylvia Rountree
