

She was born in Lansdowne, PA on July 7th, 1943.
Janet graduated from Lansdowne-Aldan High School and received her Bachelor’s Degree from her beloved Penn State University.
She was married to Dan Elliot on June 16th, 1984 in Colorado Springs, CO
Janet had a long and glorious career in various computer related industries. She proudly worked for IBM. Then after taking time off to raise her two boys, Thomas and James. She started a new career with Eastern Airlines in Miami, Fl. She then started a new career with FedEx in Colorado Springs, CO. Here she became an expert on an IBM product, Message Queuing, Where she earned her nick-name of MQ Queen! FedEx also providing us a chance to live in Paris for year, which we enjoyed immensely! We then transferred to Orlando, Fl.
Later she had a chance to rejoin her career with IBM, which allowed her to work with several government agencies, USDA, US Marines, Dept. of public debt and Homeland Security
Janet had a passion for Life! She was loved by so many and she loved just about everyone. She absolutely loved the color green. And she loved anything that was green! She enjoyed playing golf and tennis with friends! She loved the freedom she got from Skiing. She always said, it made her feel like she was flying!
She enjoying going to plays, operas, movies and spending time with her cherished friends and family, specially her Grandchildren.
She is survived by her Son, Thomas C Braun and Step Daughter Christina Elliot.
She is survived by her beloved Grandchildren Alyssa Braun, Madison Braun, Tommy Winegardner and his wife Jennifer Winegardner and her Great Grandson Connor Winegardner.
She was predeceased by her son James M Braun.
