John Anthony Accomando, age 92, of Longwood, Florida passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. John was born November 3, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois to the late George and Concetta (nee Staffa). John attended St. Phillips High School in Chicago and went to mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Basilica.
John proudly served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged as a Corporal. After receiving his Bachelor's Degree he spent his career as an accountant. John started with Lyttons as stock clerk and retired as Vice President and Treasurer. He retired from Lyttons in 1980 and then went to work with Howard Shcultz and Associates until 1992.
He was incredibly organized, intelligent and caring. He was a longtime member and usher at Annunciation Catholic Church.
John had a big heart and enjoyed staying busy so he spent time volunteering in numerous capacities; as Security at Arnold Palmer Bay Hill for over 10 years, Shepards Hope and at the Seminole County library.
He is predeceased by his parents and brothers, Rudy Accomando and Frank Magnifico.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Louise; children, Michael Accomando and Lisa Keller (John); grandchildren, Megan and Ashley Thompson, Easton Keller as well as numerous other extended family members and friends.
