Joyce Roberta Mays

Joyce graduated high school at EC Glass in Lynchburg, Va, where she learned to play Piano at an early age. Loved to listen to music especially her favorite which was Gospel.

Joyce loved to travel the world with her children following her Military husband before divorce. Her career was spent in banking with a plethora of many other jobs which most importantly was being a mom.

She was very giving. She worked hard and went without most of her life just to take care of her family.

She was very silly and loved to cut up.

She loved her family with all her heart and loved just spending time with them. She never passed up a chance to have her favorite food which was Mexican along with a great margarita.

Proceeded in death by her 3 daughters, Sharon Brooks, Valerie Martin and Wanda Boone. 4 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren and Sister Barbara Lemire.

She is finally free of pain and resting comfortably in the hands of our god and savior. She’s talking it up with her mom, Dad, Brother, sister-in-law and nephews and I’m sure many others that have went before us.
