Judith (Judy) Gail (Hooks) Merrick, age 64, passed suddenly on Monday, September 26, 2016 at her home in Longwood, Florida. She was born on February 20, 1952 in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee to Isham and Lois Hooks. Judy is preceded in death by her spouse William (Bill) Claude Merrick and grandchild Jakob Gunner McFarland. She is survived by her children Jennifer (Jerry) McFarland, David (Amelia) Merrick, Thomas Merrick, and Kara Merrick; her grandchildren Alexis, Dylan, Douglas, Brittany and Kylie; her siblings Joyce (Ray) Thurston, Robert Hooks, Harold (Paula) Hooks, Kay (Ken) Miles, and Brenda (Bob) Walsh. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 2pm at Christmas Church of God, 24313 E. Colonial Drive, Christmas, FL 32709.
