Laura Lee Mahnken, 81, of Debary, FL, passed away surrounded by family and loved ones on March 14, 2016. She was born in Carbon Hill, Alabama on May 21, 1934. She was a Naval Military wife for many years. When her husband, Marion, retired they began and ran an agricultural business in Lake Monroe, FL. The job she took the most pride in was being the mother to her seven children. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Marion Ellis Mahnken, and grandson, Mark David Mahnken. She is survived by son James David McGough (Sylvia), daughter Patricia Dianne McGough Haver (Bruce), son Buster Eugene McGough (Dianne), son Wesley Scott Mahnken, daughter Marian Celeste Mahnken Quinones, son Henry Richard Mahnken (Helen), son Christopher Warren Mahnken (Dana). Eighteen grandchildren, as well as great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren. The Celebration of Life Service will be held at Baldwin Fairchild Oaklawn, 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford, FL 32771 on Saturday April,2, 2016 at 10:00 am.
