Linda Lou Hamilton of Lake Mary, Florida passed away on her 72nd Birthday. She was born on July 13, 1949 in Baltimore, Maryland and raised by her beloved late parents, Mary and Donald K. Elyard Sr. Linda grew up loving the beach, and taught her daughters to do the same…

By trade, she excelled in the insurance business; and, she volunteered much of her time and heart with the local Veterans group. Linda’s rare combination of kindness, generosity, and biting sarcastic wit made for many days filled with laughter.

She loved shopping, cruising, her beloved cocker spaniels, and a Grey Goose vodka-cranberry cocktail. Whenever you see a butterfly or a sunflower, remember the delights of Linda. She is survived by her daughters, Denise and Danielle; grandchildren, Celeste, Skyler, Micah and Malik; and, siblings, Dana and Keith.

Bring your favorite memory to share for a Celebration of Linda’s Life on Saturday July 24 from 1-3pm at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn, 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford, Florida 32771. In lieu of flowers, the Hamilton Family invites you to consider making a donation in Linda’s name to: American Legion

Condolences may be offered in the online guest book below.

Words can not express how heart broken I am to hear this news. Linda, you were an amazing lady and mentor. You taught me so much. You always had a smile on your face no matter the circumstances and I am honored to have even walked in your presence. Soar high with the eagles my friend. I'll be have having a Grey Goose drink in your memory!
Love, Terrie

Linda, where do I begin?
Like a mother to me, a grandmother to my son, greatest neighbor, amazing friend, and always there to listen and enjoy a Coke Zero!
It is still hard to wrap my head around your absence. I have wonderful memories and I will cherish them! Dana, Denise, Danielle have all come together during this journey, and you can rest easy knowing that they are all together as normal as life can get these days. I find peace knowing you are not suffering anymore, even though my attitude and selfish behaviors are still not accepting of it.
Fly high sweet lady, and remember you are loved by so many. See you on the other side. Not to worry, I will keep them all in check for you!
Love Always,
Lee-Ann & Logan Reeves

I was happy to have worked with Linda at USIS for many years. I'm sad she has passed and my condolences to Danielle and to all of her family. A prior engagement will keep me from sharing in your memories but I'll be keeping her and all of you in my prayers.
