Lucy Villanueva

Lucy was born to Flor and Maria Villanueva in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico on March 17, 1947 and joined our Lord in Staten Island on January 29, 2024 of a worn out, used BIG heart.

Lucy had immense passion for her family and she showed her love to her sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews, with her great bear hugs and loud smooches.

Lucy cherished her Princess, Tori, Her little man Mikey, and her precious daughter Joanna above all. Her beautiful smile and her infectious laugh will be sorely missed.

Lucy is survived by her Daughter; Joanna Lopez, Granddaughter; Tori Lopez, Great-grandson; Michael Leonardo, Sisters; Blanca Villanueva (Jose) Lorden, Santa (Papo) Melendez, Carmen Ruiz, Nellie (Jaime) Flecha, Ana (Jay) Hutt, Brothers; Luis and Ramon Villanueva and many loving nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by a very special Best Friend; Willie Ortiz.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

A visitation for Lucy will be held Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 12:15 PM to 2:15 PM at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel. A funeral service will occur Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 2:15 PM to 3:00 PM; both at 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford FL 32771. A committal service will occur Sunday immediately following the service, February 4, 2024 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at Baldwin Fairchild at Chapel Hill, 2420 Harrell Road, Orlando, FL 32817.
