Luis was born January 30th 1948 in Cunha Baixa Mangualde. He served in the Portuguese Military in Angola and was also an Iron worker. Him and his family immigrated to the USA in 1978. He resided in the Iron bound section of Newark NJ. Then moved to Elizabeth for many years. In 2010 they made the move to the sunshine state of Florida, where he passed away. He was an avid soccer fan and loved to watch his favorite team Sporting play. Luis never stopped, and enjoyed spending time in the garden.
He was a providing husband, caring father, and devoted grandfather. He is preceded in death by his daughter Sandra. Survived by his devoted wife Belmira of 53 years, his loving daughter Isabel, and cherished granddaughter Sienna. He is also remembered by his lovely sister-in-law Rosa, nieces, nephews, family & friends in the US and Portugal. He will be never be forgotten.
The family will host a viewing from on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, 5000 CR 46A, Sanford, Florida 32771, followed the funeral service at 4:00 PM.
