She was raised in Inverness, Scotland, by a foster family she cherished deeply. As the youngest of seventeen, she learned early the importance of connection, loyalty, and love—values that guided her throughout her life.
Loved by everyone she met and recognized instantly by her sweet Scottish accent, Margaret carried warmth wherever she went. A gifted craftswoman, she worked with her hands and her heart. Fiercely protective of her family, she dedicated herself to her children and grandchildren. A loyal and true friend, her kindness was unmatched, and her selflessness radiated through every part of her life.
She was always there—offering wisdom, listening without judgment, or simply being a friend to everyone she loved.
Her laugh was unique and contagious, and her humor unmistakable. Known for her sharp wit, she had a way of lifting spirits with ease. Her smile was a light, and to be loved by her was a gift. Those who knew "Nana" will remember her warmth, her inner strength, and the generous spirit that left an imprint on every life she touched.
Margaret is survived by her children: George Brown of Clearwater, FL; Michelle Harvey of Debary, FL; Sharon Pizzuti of Lake Mary, FL; and Lorna Peery of Savage, MN, along with their spouses and the families they built. She will also be deeply missed by her grandchildren—Susan Harvey, Kaley Celentano, Jay Benally, Bobby Pizzuti, and Dylan Peery, whom she shared so much time and love with—and her many great-grandchildren, with whom she shared a beautiful and cherished relationship.
She is reunited in heaven with the love of her life, Bob.
A celebration of Margaret's remarkable life will be held in January.
