Mary Alice Swann, age 95, known as Alice by her family and friends, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026. Alice was born on February 16, 1931 in Costin Station, Maryland to Howard and Florence Kirby. She married George L. Swann, Jr. on June 29, 1956 who, after 55 years of marriage preceded her in death in 2011. She devoted her life to her family and her faith. Alice is survived by her three daughters, Nancy Swann, Barbara Trotto and Mary Muse. She was a proud grandmother to Ashley Aubin, Lisa Baker, Brian Huffman, Jr., Beverly Huffman, Beth Flick and Laura Brooks, and seven great grandchildren, Penelope, Isis, Will, Logan, Eleanor, Kendall, and Bryson. Alice was a member of Westview Baptist Church. The family wishes to thank Vitas for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gideon Bibles in Alice’s memory.
A Graveside Service will be held at Lake Mary Cemetery, Greenleaf Lane and, Lake Mary, FL 32746, US, on April 3, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
