

Phyllis P. Seither peacefully passed away at home February 19, 2017 surrounded by her children. She is predeceased by her mother Margaret Hails, sister Betty Butler and daughter Beverly Salsgiver. She is survived by three sisters, Marge Saytor, Dee Carone of Martinsferry, Ohio, Georgia “Doll” Cosner of Debary, FL and four loving children Monica (Jeanette)Taylor of Wyandotte, Michigan, Judy Taylor of Edgewater, FL, Cheryl (Kit) Johnson and William P Taylor Jr. both of Debary, FL and a dear friend Gail Oveissy of Sanford, FL. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Born Sept. 14, 1934 in Wheeling, West Virginia to William Pack and Margaret Hackathorne, Phyllis was raised in the Wheeling, W. VA area with her sisters. She later married William P. Taylor Sr. (deceased), they settled in Martinsferry, Ohio and had five children together. While raising her five children, she got her nursing degree and started a career in nursing. She moved to Sanford, FL in 1973. In 1976 she moved to Texas with her second husband where she lived until his death and came back to Florida in 1992 where she later retired. Phyllis enjoyed reading, crafts, loved playing card and dice games, and liked to travel. She was fortunate enough to see places like France and Hawaii and cruise to Alaska, as well as many other places. She was the family seamstress, always sewing and fixing things for someone. She liked to spend her mornings doing crossword puzzles with her morning coffee. She also enjoyed watching her daily TV shows like Dr. Phil and Judge Judy . Phyllis touched the lives of many and will be missed dearly by family and friends but her memory will carry on through those that were fortunate enough to have known her. No services have been planned at this time.
