Born in Clover, S.C. March 3, 1939, he graduated Clemson University, served in the army, then moved to Orlando, Florida in 1967 where he was employed as an Electrical Engineer with the Naval Training Device Center until 1994 when he retired.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carolyn Hoover, daughter Dana Hoover, son Ken Hoover, stepdaughter Holli Hallmark, stepson Jerry Hallmark and wife Lisa, granddaughter Aubry Joannes and husband Chris, granddaughter Madisson Rimando and husband Brandon, and three great grandchildren.
Mr. Hoover will be laid to rest with a private family service in Oaklawn Park Cemetery.
