Viveca (Aunti V) Monet Hudson was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to the late Freddie (Waltia) Lee Hudson and the late Rosa Lee James, on Tuesday, March 19, 1957. Her father, Freddie, was an Air Force Master Staff Sergeant, and moved his family often in the administration of his duties to his country. As a result, Viveca and her sisters were blessed to experience parts of the world that created a deep love for national and international travel. She graduated from Victor Valley High School in Victorville, CA, and received both her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Accounting from the University of Phoenix, AZ.
On August 12, 1982, Viveca was blessed with the birth of her daughter, Falon Monet Hudson-Flavien and again on May 25, 2006, with her granddaughter, Camella Monet Flavien.
After moving with her immediate family to Central Florida, Viv worked for SunTrust Bank as head teller; Orlando Country Aviation Services, Inc. as comptroller; and Florida Industrial Electric (F.I.E) Inc. as OSHA Liaison, before co-owning and running her own business, Par Electric, Inc. as Accounting Manager and Vice-President for over five years. She finished her career as Housing Supervisor and Account Assistant for University of Central Florida.
Aunti V was an active member of The Church for over 40 years: Rescue Church of GOD in Christ, Sanford, FL, (Mother Blanche Bell-Weaver, Pastor) and, currently, Refreshing Spring Primitive Baptist Church of Jesus Christ, Oviedo, FL (Elder Johnny E. Walker, Pastor). She sang in the choir and praise team, was Vice-President and a teacher at church school, taught 5th Sunday Fellowship workshops with Pleasant Grove Elevation Church of Jacksonville, FL, held the office of church treasurer, was the Pastor’s aid and armor-bearer, and was a part of the Refreshing Cubbard Food Pantry.
Aunti V was a true Christian who placed her faith in Jesus Christ, alone, as her Lord and Savior. She lived her life depending solely on GOD to keep her as she battled Type 2 Diabetes and 5th stage kidney failure for almost 15 years. HE blessed her to vacation in Germany, Scotland, England, Canada, Ireland, Alaska and Switzerland, and brought her safely home again each time. In the time of the COVID pandemic, with the loss of so many lives, HE kept her healthy and secure.
Her favorite scripture has always been I Thessalonians 5:18: “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of GOD in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
Her favorite hymn is: ‘A Charge to Keep I Have’.
Aunti V leaves behind her most treasured gifts: her daughter, Falon Monet Hudson; her spiritual son, Christopher Lamar Billups; her granddaughter, Camella Monet Flavien; her sisters, Tameca Vilesha (Marlon) Alexander, Dr. Glyniss Ann Hudson, and spiritual sister, Amie Vanessa (Johnny) Walker; her spiritual brothers, Joe Lee Black and William Black, Jr..; her nieces, Cassaundra Hudson (Randy) Kemp, Kyra Shanel (Michael) Brown and her spiritual niece, Katasha Black Walker; her grand-nephews, Joseph Randall Kemp and Kaysen Lorenzo Brown; her grand-nieces, Aysia Nicole Brown, Gabriella Marie Kemp, Julianna Kendall Kemp and spiritual grand-niece, Kaloni Grace Walker; her god-daughters, Kyra Simone Vivian Michelle Williams and Kaymiah Monet Guy; her best friends, Estelle Edith Brown and Gwendolyn Louise Burke; and a host of beloved relatives, co-workers, acquaintances and friends.
