Diana Louise Collinge, age 73, passed away peacefully, in her sleep, on Wednesday, February 7th, 2018 in Los Angeles, CA. Services will be held on March 17, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Fairhaven Memorial Park and Mortuary in the beautiful Waverly Chapel, at 1702 Fairhaven Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92705.
A beloved mother and dedicated caregiver, Diana is survived by her four sons; Robert Loseman II, Joseph (Shelley) Loseman, John Loseman, and James Loseman, four grandchildren; Joseph, Justin, Jacob, and Kasey; sister Judy Collinge, brother William Collinge, sister Sandy Holt, sister Susan Tannenbaum; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Beatrice Collinge, brother Steve Collinge, and brother-in-law Daniel Tannenbaum.
Diana was born in Seattle Washington on June 8, 1944 to William and Beatrice Collinge and was the eldest of six children. Her father’s Naval career led the family to eventually settle in South Gate, CA, where she graduated from South Gate High School, class of 1962. Her ten-year marriage to Robert H. Loseman began in 1969, and resulted in her greatest pride and joy, their four boys. She ultimately continued her education to attain an MS degree in Clinical Counseling.
Diana was extremely intelligent and will mostly be remembered for her kind-heartedness. She was a bright, loving, caring and strong-willed woman who saw the good in all things and people. She loved music and was a lifelong Elvis Presley devotee. She loved Science Fiction books, TV shows and movies. Her favorite color was pink, and she had a passion for roses and Victorian style decor. She loved her children and grandchildren and spoke very highly and often of them. Born of parents who created a strong close family unit, Diana shared this with her siblings and she made sure to pass this on to her children.
Diana will be missed and cherished by all who were blessed with the opportunity to know her and be part of her life. Although taken from this world too soon, she lived a full and rewarding life.
Condolences for Diana's family may be left on Fairhaven's website guestbook
