I have known Donna for 55 years. Met her and her family when I spent my first summer in California. She was my sister’s neighbor but soon became her best friend! Our two families shared so much during those years, so much happiness and fun times. It was nice to watch her children grow up and have families of their own. Donna and George were great parents and had such a wonderful family. She will be dearly missed. 

My sincere condolences to George and  the entire family. My prayers are with you as you walk this path.  It’s ok to be sad and grieve but know that she will always be in your hearts and by your side. This isn’t the final goodbye it is I will see you again. Donna now has her angel wings ❤️ and is just waiting for the rest of her family and friends to join her someday.

I am in total shock at this announcement! Donna and I have been trying to work out a time for a lunch visit and  we just weren’t able to get our schedules to click! I’m just sick over her passing! I know she was having some angina issues, but beyond  that, what went wrong! I’m going to miss our sweet girl! Her happy nature, and hearing of how proud she was of her kids and grandkids! Big loss! She sure loved you George. Always bragging on you and how well you took care of her.

Dear George and family, 
Donna and I go back from Kindergarten to 6th grade at Presumpscot School in Portland, Maine.  She and her family moved to California in the middle of the 6th grade year.  I was heart-broken when she left, but we stayed in touch for many years.  In more recent years, she and George came back to Maine to visit family several times.  We had a chance to connect  on a couple of occasions, one time being an afternoon at a seafood restaurant.
Donna was always such a sweetheart and I am extremely saddened to hear of her passing.  
George and family, please accept my deepest condolences to you at this very sad time.  💔

Donna was the most welcoming and loving person I have ever known.  We met in January 1970 and have remained friends actually became family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend.  

I am sure she was welcomed into heaven. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
