Doris I. Anton, AKA"Dory", of Santa Ana, CA passed away on May 12, 2016. Doris was born in Wadena MN on June 29, 1921. She came to Santa Ana in 1943. She had various jobs then went into silk screening at home. Doris was an avid bowler and at one time carried the highest womens average in Orange County . . . and left-handed at that. She is pre-deceased by her husband Daniel H. Anton, her parents and one brother. Doris is survived by her daughters Jan Alston and Denise Valdivia and her son-in-law John Alston. She is also survived by sisters Lorna of Tustin and Darlene of North Dakota and by her brother Verland of Arizona. In addition, Doris leaves behind three grandchildren, Danny, Patricia and Anthony along with six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind several friends at The GF in Tustin, CA Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 18 at Fairhaven Memorial Park from 4 to 8 pm. A graveside service will follow on Thursday, May 19, at 2:30 pm also at Fairhaven Memorial Park.
