

Gaston was born on June 17th, 1933, in Cerro De Pasco, Peru, the son of Humberta Quiroz Cilliani and Jose Angel Rosales Cilliani. Gaston passed away peacefully in his sleep in his home alongside his wife, Ruth, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Gaston is survived by his wife, Ruth, his children, Jose, Elizabeth, Michael and Jeff, grandchildren Caleb, Amber, Brianna, Gabriella, Alexandra, Daniel and Ayden, and great-grandson Maverick. Our beloved Cynthia left us in 2010 and she is missed every day.
Gaston had an MD Degree from the National University of Cordoba, Argentina, earned in December 1961, and was an Introduction to Surgery Professor at the same University from 1961-1963. He completed his Pathology Residency and Fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital (from 1967-1970). Gaston was licensed to practice medicine in multiple states. He was also a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Gaston established his own successful medical practice and served the community for 57 years. Dr. Cilliani was known to his colleagues, nurses, and patients as a compassionate, caring physician. He will be missed greatly by everyone.
A Visitation for Gaston will be held on Wednesday, November 17th, 2021, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Fairhaven Memorial Park & Mortuary, 1702 Fairhaven Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92705. A funeral service will occur from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM. A graveside service will occur from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM.
