Jim met the love of his life, Joyce, and was married on May 5,, 1962. Most who knew Jim would say he lit up a room with his humor. He was always wanting to make people laugh and feel special. Always a person you could count on no matter what. Jim will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jim Bywater is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joyce, his daughters, Janna and Jodi, and son, Jim. He adored all his grandchildren, Blake, Connor, Kendall, Mitch, Hanna, Mathew, and Chandler. In 2022, his great granddaughter, Emma was born but unfortunately, they never met due to his long illness. He was deeply involved in the lives of his grandchildren, attending all their sporting events, dance and choral performances, birthday parties, and graduations. He loved watching his grandchildren succeed and was always their biggest supporter. Jim was very proud of his family.
