Passed away, 2nd of June 2012
at his home in Santa Ana, CA 92704
Joe Crosthwaite was born in Orange, California on 14 September 1974 to Jose A. & Maria Luisa Crosthwaite and has two brothers, Richard and George Crosthwaite. Joe attended Tustin High School before graduating from Rossier School. During his working years, Joe worked at Carls Jr., Ralph’s Super Market and Sears Department store, often winning praise from fellow co-workers for his hard work, culminating in him being recognized as employee of the month on several occasions from his employers.
Joe had a single hobby and passion, which was to travel to sample new and exotic places and new and exotic foods. His travels have seen him in all of Western Europe, the Middle East, specifically Israel, every country in Central and South America, with his favorite destination being Brazil.
Although born Catholic, Joe explored Christianity to arrive at Calvary Chapel where he continued to grow in the Lord.
The best way to describe Joe, was World Traveler. He had a photographic memory that made it possible for him to know exactly where he was and where he needed to go without looking like a tourist. He also did a great job of learning the local customs and language to endear himself to those he ran across, thus enriching lives everywhere he went.
Joe is survived by his mother, Maria Luisa, brothers Richard and George, and niece, Jasmine Crosthwaite and a long list of friends that are too vast to name on one page.
With his departure, Joe will be joining my late father Jose Crosthwaite who left us in July 2004
