"Tio" as we knew him in my family,  even though we have many uncles in our large family he was always just Tio to my kids because that's what they called him as babies and to this day.  Just like his beautiful wife, our aunt Yolanda, "Tia".  Both have been a blessing to all of us as kids and adults and are missed very much.  Tio Juan, even though we didn't see as much in the past few years, was always so good to see and always had a welcoming smile and hug.  So many countless memories with the Sanchez family, you are all loved very much! ❤  Until we meet again ❤

My family and I will deeply miss my uncle. My condolences to my Sanchez family...
I have been very blessed to have spent more time with my uncle  ever since he moved to Norco. 
My good memories of him is  the great times we’ve had in my backyard eating and having Bible studies, countless meeting up for dinners and talking about god. The best memory I have is how we all jump in white van aka (La Van) and go serve for the harvest crusades at angle stadium year after year and stay at hotels near the crusade and do it for all 3 days.... he had a passion for god and a passion  to serve. He was a good loving father/grandpa and a godly man, a respectful man , and a fair man. We will miss him!  💕

I first met Juan about 12 years ago when he use to pick his grandson Jefferson up from school. I always enjoyed talking with him and noticed back then his caring nature and devotion to his family. I had great admiration for him. He was always upbeat and had a calming sense about him. As years passed,  my son Tyson and I got closer with the whole family and got to be a part of many family outings and celebrations. The family is always together and Juan was/is the heart of it all. I always enjoyed seeing him play with his grandchildren.  My son and I are grateful to have gotten to know Juan and the family to share some of the wonderful memories and laughs. He is dearly missed by all who had the opportunity to know him. I wish his family peace in knowing he is with you all in spirit. - Allison and Tyson

My Tio Juan, I’d like to refer to him in the present as his body may now be resting, he very much is with us in spirit and memory. 
I truly enjoy visiting with my uncle as he always has a positive attitude towards life and all that he comes in contact with.   His great smile which often is followed by laughter will be indelibly etched in my mind. I have never seen my uncle have a bad day and I will continue to see him in the most positive light.  
My uncles admiration and true love for Tia Yola, Alicia, Gilbert, Yolanda and Veronica is evident in his actions towards them. I have no doubt that his love for his grandchildren and great grandchildren shines bright too. ❤️ 
He often took his family on vacations and my cousins would come back with such joy and happiness over having experienced  life changing moments. It was great to see the Sanchez family enjoying life together.  My uncle and my father worked for Disneyland and the Hotel, which allowed us unlimited access to the park as children which I have many fond memories of enjoyment there with all my cousins and family. 

Ever since I can remember, My uncle would greet me with love and would always tell me that I’m still growing. He finally stopped suggesting I was growing when I was in my mid 40’s. He often tried to create a nickname for me which I luckily escaped.  After hearing names like Pepeyakas and Ooco I wanted nothing to to with that. 😆
In the last few years he joined my mother for exercise classes and genuinely wanted to make sure she was doing good. 💕 

His time on earth while short, was for the glory of God and he was rewarded with a great life! 

I know I speak for the Herrera family when I say he will be missed here, but not forgotten and often remembered. You did life right Tio!

Hno. Juan Sanchez was a beloved family friend and brother in Christ, I have such wonderful memories of him, growing up in the church I would see his excitement as he would put together a group of fellow church members to go Christmas caroling and bring Christmas joy to convalescent homes and  elderly brothers and sisters in Christ from our church, it would be about a 3-4 hour journey going from home to home and at the end of the night, we would all be welcomed at his home where Hna. Yolanda his wife would have  delicious treats for us and hot chocolate. This was an event that everyone at church looked forward to. As an adult I have a beautiful memory of Hno Sanchez, my dad came to visit me from Minnesota and Hno Sanchez was a beloved friend of my dads so we went to visit him and when we got to Hno Sanchez house he  surprised me with a Birthday cake, he remembered that it was my birthday that day. He was such a funny, kind and giving person, he was always there for our special occasions like both my son's graduations, He will truly be missed.

Dad, I have been so blessed to have had you live so close to me these last few years!  I miss you so much... 
I can hear your voice consoling me by telling me “don’t worry Mija, it’ll be ok, don’t cry”  and so now I tell you dad  “don’t worry dad, we’ll be ok”  
Give mom and Ali a big hug and a kiss for me and tell them all about our family! 
I love you now and forever!

Growing up, my dad was not part of my life but God always provided a father figure for me at various stages of life. Hno. Sánchez was one of those men. I have so many memories, but for some reason the first ones that come to mind are the regaños. Haha I also remember him randomly showing up at our house with groceries and gifts around Christmas time. The one thing that stands out more than anything is that  he was always joking around and joyful, just like my dad.  I will never forget all that he did for us. He truly is one of the best people I’ve ever known and I’m so thankful for his influence on my life.  We miss you, Hno. but we are so happy that you are reunited with your beloved wife. Please say hi to her and my dad. ❤️

I have so many memories of you dad. But the ones I will cherish most are the memories you gave my kids. You were Isaiah’s biggest fan. Always went to his games and school functions. Attended Amalia’s dance recitals also. Even attended her recent winter recital on FaceTime while you were in the hospital.  I’m sad Ximena is too young and may not remember but I will retell all the stories to keep your memories alive. We are so blessed that God allowed you all those years with us and you never slowed down. You still had all the energy to keep up with my kids. We miss you dad and we love you.  Please hug my mom and sister for us and tell them everything about my kids.
