Santa Ana, CA - Services for Mary Edmond Burton Hookway (“Ed”), 87, who entered heaven May 15, 2016, will be conducted at 2:00pm Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Fairhaven Memorial Park in the Rose Window Chapel by Rev. Taft L. Mitchell. Burial will be at Fairhaven Memorial Park. She was a member of TAWC, ALT, PEO, OCPAC, RWC, Las Campanas and an avid bridge player and crossword puzzle worker. She taught piano lessons for many years and was the organist at her churches for over 50 years. She is survived by her daughter Leslie Korb(John), grandsons Matthew and Ethan Korb, sister-in-laws Mary Burton, Barbara Bickler and Dale Hookway. Nieces Susie Duhe, Ann Hunter Burton, Louise Bush, Lynn Garner, Carol Dohner Susan Tamulonis and Cindy Bagnoli. Nephews: Eddie Burton, Russ Burton, Bill Hookway and Scott Hookway and many great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was a bright light and quick with a smile to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
