February 14th, 2018 while surrounded by family. She is reunited with her heavenly
loved ones, whom she had missed dearly in life.
The world was blessed with Norma on March 5th, 1938 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. For
several years she trained in dance and performing arts before marrying Ronald Leroy
Wheaton in 1954. The couple relocated to California in 1957 with their children.
Norma was a spirited, strong and vibrant woman who raised five beautiful
children. Norma Lee overcame many great adversities such as: breast cancer, a stroke
and a brain aneurysm. Even through the most trying moments, she managed to
persevere with a lively sense of humor and unwavering determination.
Norma adored spending time with family and friends. She took enjoyment in the
finer things in life , such as: poetry, art, reading and repeated visits to the beach.
She is survived by her four children, ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a
brother, a sister and several cousins. Her family and loved ones will be having a private
celebration of her life.
