Robert Barron Gomez

It is with a heavy heart that I dedicate this page to one of my younger brothers Robert Gomez; he passed away at his home in Santa Ana on Wednesday, October 9th 2013 at the age of 40. His death came suddenly and unexpectedly in his sleep.

He was predeceased by his father, Baudelio M. Gomez, brothers Baudelio (Curly) Gomez Jr., Roy Gomez. He is lovingly remembered by his mother Mary B. Gomez, Brother John Gomez (Sara) and Sisters Mary G. Lujan, Rosie Plascencia, Gloria Gomez (Terry) Annette Gomez, his Tia Enedina and many loving family and friends. He was born and lived all his life in Santa Ana Californian.

His passing is a trying time for all of his loved ones, for those that knew him, he was a gentle soul. That the world will not be the same without his presence, that his death is not and end of life, it is only the body that perishes, his spirit can never die... it continues to live. We shall cherish the little moments that he brought to us, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter, and his love for his family. I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death, for they continue to participate in every act of our lives. Their love leaves a mark that is impossible to remove, an imprint to our memories knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love. His story is that he will always be remembered as a gentle soul how enriched our lives.
