William "Bill" R Ault

Bill worked for the City of Fountain Valley for 35 years, retiring as Director of Public Works. Bill was known as very ethical and fair man and respected those that worked with him. He always maintained a very dry sense of humor.

He loved golf and boating, as well as camping. Most of all, he loved his family. He has two, sons, W. Travis and Jeffrey W. Ault.  He also has 4 grandchildren, Hudson P, Jay W, Millie R and Archer R Ault. He and his wife, Kathy Ault, were married for 54 years. His steady presence and quiet strength will always be remembered.

A funeral service will be held at Fairhaven Memorial Park Mortuary in the Waverley Chapel, located at 1702 Fairhaven Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92705, on January 13, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.

Following the funeral service, a reception will take place in the Gallery at the same location, from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

A committal service will be conducted at Fairhaven Memorial Park, in the W Lawn, also at 1702 Fairhaven Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92705, at 2:00 pm on the same day.
