I worked with Angel on a couple of occasions and I only knew him briefly, but I knew Angel was a good person and had a good heart. This year when I stopped at 1st United and asked about him I was devastated to hear that he passed away. I wish my condolences to his family and everyone who knew him. May his soul be blessed by angels. Rest in peace.

Babe, my darling, my love, thank you for showing me unconditional love and how I should be treated as a woman. Thank you for allowing me to be myself without any judgement. Thank you for always opening the car door for me, always wiping down my utensils whenever we went anywhere to eat, for always pumping my gas, for always pushing the shopping cart, always making sure I was warm enough in your car even though you’d be sweating bullets. Thank you for always having a blanket ready for me since you knew I get cold easily. Thank you for always delivering me food at work since you knew I didn’t want to step away from my desk, and thanks for all the countless Starbucks runs. Thank you never telling me no and the biggest thank you is for loving me for me. I miss you and think about you everyday. I would like to send my deepest condolences, prayers and love to Angel’s mom Maryann, his dad Brett, his children Damian and Laila and all of his family at this difficult time.  I’m unbelievably sadden and still in disbelief myself that Angel is really gone. 
I’ve known Angel most of my life, since I was just a kid probably about 11 years old. My brother and  Angel were friends that met in high school. Angel was like another big brother to me. 
Growing up Angel had been to a lot of our family gatherings and events, he became family. We’ve managed to stay in contact even as I got older and had a family of my own. But because my husband is in the military and we move around a lot  I didn’t see him as often as before when I lived in San Jose, but  when I was in town visiting with family I would see him here and there. 
We actually chatted  a few weeks before his passing and spoke about how we were going to meet up. He had me laughing as he usually does because we were talking about how old he was and how grown he said I sounded. I used to tease him about being a “old man” and he would tease me right back about getting older or being the little rugrat that would follow him and my brother around when I was little because I thought he/they were cool! Haha! I’m so grateful for that last phone call.
Angel  was a great friend, and big brother! I hope he’s looking down on us and  seeing how loved he was.
 Angel your smile, your loud laugh and voice filled with so much excitement will definitely be missed. Rest in eternal peace big bro.

I’m still in disbelief that I’m writing a memory of you when we still had so many memories to share together as a family. You continue to come to mind all the time and your truly missed. You were my big brother growing up and you were always so supportive. You always had something to say good or bad but that was you, tough love is what I needed. I never got the chance to tell you thank you for always showing up to the most important events in my life. The time I graduated basic training in Texas to showing up to the hospital when I had Maximiliano. I’m just sad the new baby boy won’t be able to meet a wonderful man in my life. You were always so loving towards my boys, thanks cuz for always being you.

You brought so much energy to the family gatherings with your fun personality. You always brought our small group of cousins together for every holiday and they won’t be the same without you. Will always cherish how loving our cousin Angel was & that love will carry on through his children, & all who knew him. He always made you feel at home, no matter how much time may've passed it was as if it didn't the moment he entered the room. The last time I seen my Nephew Angel in-person was July 2019.  We ran into each other in Reno, NV while he was there for his kid's baseball tournament.

Angel-we first met when I was 10 in the 6th grade. Seems so long ago but I can remember it like yesterday. Then the days with the '60 with Tupac (All Eyes on Me!!) and The Chi-lites bumpin'. We had a lot of good memories my friend and I'll miss you checking in on me from time to time.

I will always remember playing baseball in high school with Angel. He was a fast lefty. During practice, I would rarely be able to throw him out at second when he would steal on me. He was a natural leader and a good friend. My deepest condolences to the family and all his close friends.
