Angelo Gallo

Our beloved father, grand¬father, uncle and friend died peacefully in his Saratoga home Wednesday. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Norma, sons Angelo Jr. (Mary) and Marco (Charlotta), grandchildren Vincent, Matthew, Nicole, Michael, Nia, brother Nino Gallo, sister Ersilia Iacomini and numerous nieces and nephews. Angelo fought a valiant battle with cancer for over a year. In his final weeks he was surrounded by his family and friends in his cherished home. Born in Andretta Italy, Angelo immigrated to the United States in 1955 and settled in San Jose with his family. Angelo worked for the Ford Motor Co. in Milpitas for 29 years and later for FMC Corp. in San Jose for 14 years. All who knew him described him as loving, supportive, dignified and a gentleman. This is how he lived his life to the end. Family and friends are invited to attend a Rosary at 7pm Sunday, April 29th with Visitation from 5 to 9pm at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester Blvd. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am, Monday April 30th at Sacred Heart Church, 13716 Saratoga Ave. in Saratoga. Interment follows in Santa Clara Mission Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Hospice of the Valley 4850 Union Ave, San Jose, CA 95124.
