Aquilino passed away peacefully on June 14, 2015 at 10:14 a.m. at the age of 88. He was born in Italy on April 23, 1927 and came to San Jose, CA in 1968. Survived by his loving wife, Maria; two sons, Armano (Linda) of Santa Clara, CA and Joe (Janis) of Auburn, CA; 4 grandchildren, Michael, Brian, Marissa, Sean Giovacchini and 6 great grandchildren. He worked as a delivery driver, first for his brother Lawrence and cousin Gino Giannini and then for Race Street Fish and Poultry, where he retired in 1992. He enjoyed gardening, playing cards with family and friends, watching boxing and always bragged about what a good dancer he was. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, 2015 from 5-9PM with Rosary at 7PM at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 10:30AM at Queen of Apostles Parish, 4911 Moorpark Ave., San Jose. Entombment to follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
